Fees are due for professional services at each session and may be offered on a sliding scale on a case by case basis. I accept cash, check, debit or credit cards. I also accept most out of network PPO health insurance plans and my office will bill your insurance directly for services. Services may be covered in part by your health insurance plan. I will review your coverage in your plan to verify the specifics of your particular coverage and notify you prior to our first session.
Appointment times are reserved especially for you, therefore, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for re-scheduling or canceling an appointment. The full fee will be charged for missed sessions in those cases without 24 hours notice, unless a sudden medical emergency has occurred.
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
