Psychological Testing & Assessment

What is psychological testing?

Also called psychological assessment, psychological testing is a foundation for how skilled professionals, usually psychologists, can better understand a person’s thinking, learning and behavior. Testing and assessment can help clarify a diagnosis and help inform a treatment plan.

A detailed written report is provided which integrates the test results and includes specific recommendations and interventions for remediation of difficulties identified in the evaluation. I have training and experience conducting a thorough evaluation and assessment that includes a clinical interview to assist in identifying your strengths and weaknesses. I can also collaborate with other treatment professionals or provide clarification to school staff regarding recommendations. Assessments typically offer much needed and important recommendations for interventions or accommodations.
