You’ve gotten really good at pushing those feelings away so that you can carry on with your usual required presence, but those thoughts and uneasy feelings of something feeling “off” linger in the background.

Maybe you are relying on unhealthy coping mechanisms. Maybe friends and family are concerned about you. Maybe nothing you have tried has seemed to help and things just seem to either be staying the same or are getting overwhelmingly worse. It can sometimes be difficult to even recognize when it is time to talk to a professional, but you are here now, searching and reading because you want to be feeling better.

My therapeutic style is to work collaboratively with you. We will go on the journey together. Sometimes psychotherapy is really deep and feels really powerful and other times it can be more practical and educational, but in each case, it is genuinely supportive.

Change is subtle and happens over time. It takes honest, self-reflection and compassion for self.
